Zoo Train Track Cleanup Party

Blackberry slayers armed for battle. See jungle behind them?

The weather is fantastic — and honestly, what could be more fun than extracting blackberries and ivy with "The Friends"? Just saying!

We’re continuing our Zoo Train track cleanups and would love to have you join us.

📍 Big Meadow on SW Kingston Drive
(between the Zoo and Washington Park)

Upcoming cleanup times (weather permitting):

  • Friday — 1:30 PM

  • Saturday — 10:00 AM

  • Sunday — 10:00 AM

We’ve been making great progress, and every work party makes a visible difference. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch the tracks reappear from under years of overgrowth.

No experience needed — just bring gloves, sturdy shoes, and a willingness to enjoy some sunshine while doing something good for the community.

Bonus points if you bring a friend!

Come for a bit or stay awhile — it all helps.

Hope to see you on the line! 🚂
